Rescue 790

Model:

Response Type:

Rescue 790 responds to all calls.  This truck is used for the transportation of off-road rescue equipment and our rescue boat (799).  In addition it transports the mobile command unit which stores our Argo / Rescue Sled, off-road rescue equipment and additional supplies.  790 holds our primary medical equipment and A.E.D. and responds to high-priority medical calls 

The Command Unit is used for large incidents or as a mobile command post for joint operations in addition to rehab for firefighters.

Rescue 791 responds to all incidents.  This apparatus carries various rescue and auto-extrication tools, medical equipment, bunker gear, SCBAs and has a Cascade System that provides air for filling our SCBA bottles when on scene.

Engine 793 responds to all fires and automotive incidents.  Engine 793 is our primary pumper and carries a full set of auto-extrication tools including Hydraulic Jaws, Cutters and Ram.

Response Type:
Tanker 794 responds to all fires.  This apparatus is the pride and joy of our Department.  Tanker 794  was to be taken out of service and sold at an auction after purchasing our new tanker 795 in 2016.  Instead, the membership (Truck Committee) used the opportunity to convert the apparatus to a large volume water truck.  The newly refurbished 794 holds roughly 4000 Imp gallons of water. For a non hydrant area like, Harvey this is huge benefit.  The Truck Committee members completed a significant portion of the design and build in house.  Very talented crew.

Response Type:
Tanker 795 is the newest member of our fleet.  It responds to all fires and will respond to motor vehicle incidents that require road blockage for firefighter safety. This apparatus is also used for mutual aid with our surrounding departments.

Response Type:

Engine 796 is used for “shuttling” water and for forest fires.  It also serves as the primary pumper when responding to locations that are partially accessible such as narrow camp roads, remote cottage areas and roadways that are not serviced.

Response Type:
Utility 797 is a great truck for grass and forest fire operations.  It is able to access narrow camp roads,  roadways that are not serviced, and wood lots.  It carries forest fire equipment such as pumps, water packs, shovels and forestry hose.

Response Type:
Rescue 798 responds to all incidents on the water.  There are several lakes within our coverage area that make our Rescue boat an invaluable resource.  Rescue 798 is also used for search and recovery and mutual aid.
 

Rescue 799 (Argo)

Response Type:
Rescue 799 responds to all off-road rescue calls and forest fires.  The Argo is equipped to seat 6 firefighters and is used to transport members and equipment during an emergency.  Tracks are added in the winter months for improved maneuverability.

The rescue sled is equipped with both skis and wheels depending and the weather and is hauled using Rescue 799.  The sled can transport 1 patient with 2 additional personnel.
